Take Care

To the one who has, more will be given; from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away." - Mark 4:25

God is good, and He blesses each of us with many good things even if we don't deserve them. He gives us health, family, friendship, financial means, and asks that we take care of these gifts we've been given. Unfortunately, many of us are careless. While we are healthy we smoke and drink. We take our family for granted and play around with infidelity. We mistreat our friends disregarding their feelings. We throw away our money as if it comes easily to everyone.

Please take heed and know that anyone who does not take care of the gifts God has given them will lose them. If you love your family and friends, do not engage in any type of relationships or activities that will cause you to lose them. You might not get them back and it will never be worth it. Do not betray those who love you and think the world of you all for sin… you are looking for your own destruction! When something is valuable to you, you cherish it and you hold it up and protect it so that nothing nor anyone can take it from you. You can't play around and take risks with gifts you love. Once one of these gifts is tarnished, it's very hard to bring it back. Nothing is impossible for God, but it is much better to treat all of your gifts as the blessings they are now, rather than lament their loss and pray for their recovery later.

Today's Prayer:
Lord, You have given me so much, and I know many go without so much in their lives. I have my family and friends, my health, a home, a car, all I need, Lord, You have given me. Help me to value it all and always be grateful for them. Remind me each and every day of how precious they are so that I may never take risks and lose them. In Your Name we pray, amen.
