Praying Together

"I say to you: if on earth two of you are united in asking for anything, it will be granted to you by my heavenly Father." - Matthew 18:19

Relationships can be really hard to manage sometimes. Different personalities come together and have to continually compromise in order to move forward as a couple everyday. These are the areas in which Christ seeks to bless us. In a relationship, whether married or not, couples need to bring their union before Christ. We need to present to Him all our joys, worries, sorrows and doubts, together in prayer. If we have a Lord who tells us so clearly to unite in prayer to Him and He will listen to us, why don't we take advantage of this more often? Why not take 10 minutes aside each day to pray together to the Lord for our relationships and ask Him to bless and strengthen us? We face too many hardships, especially in marriage, to not seek Jesus' constant intercession and grace in our lives and relationships, so much so that not praying together could even be harmful for a couple. The grace of God received through praying together can only strengthen the bond between a couple, letting love grow and communication increase, all with the purpose of helping us weather through all the storms that may come our way and prepare for blessings the Lord will shower opon us.

Today's Prayer:
Lord, You lovingly provide partners for us so that we would not be alone. Give us wisdom to always go before You together and offer up our lives to You in prayer. In Your Name we pray, amen.
