Moving Forward With Hope

"I know your worth; I have opened a door before you, which nobody can close, because you have kept my Word and not renounced me." - Revelation 3:8

Before Abraham became the father of descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, he and his wife were barren. Before David, the shepherd, became David, King of Israel, he faced Goliath. And before Jesus resurrected in glory, He faced death on a cross. I know that sometimes we have to face things that are very difficult. I know we see ourselves with our backs to the wall with no one to understand us or help us, but there is always God. When no one else is there, He, who formed you in your mother's womb, tells you today that you are precious in His sight, and that although things don't look good at all right now, He knows what you're worth. What He has prepared for you no one and nothing can ever take away or stop you from receiving. If you have hoped in God like a child depends on their father, believe in Him because what He has for you will come and what you're suffering now will pass.

You have to believe and hope for this despite everything telling you otherwise right now. Hope is what keeps us moving and allows us to see ahead and not fall on our faces through hardships. Hope let Abraham see his descendants. Hope brought David to the throne, and hope in God the Father, raised our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal glory after death. Where is your hope in God going to take you?

Today's Prayer:
Father, scripture tells us that if You be for us, no one can be against us. Engrave Your promises of love on my heart to have ever before me and never let hope flee from my soul despite the obstacles that come my way. In Jesus' Name we pray, amen.
